    Description

    A cocoa brown handset cord with a FLAT finish. Works on
    nearly any phone
    made in the last 30+ years. New in a package Each end has about 1-1/2 inches without curl.
    Length:
    The maximum practical working length of this cord is 7 feet. Relaxed the coiled portion of this cord is about 18 to 20 inches long, NOT 12 FEET. Add a little more for the uncoiled portion on each end. It is called a 12 foot cord because 12 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard.
    Other sellers use the terms "fully stretched" and "uncoiled". This cord would stretch to nearly 12 feet, but stretching any handset cord as far as it goes, ruins the cord. It starts to double over on itself and becomes a tangled mess in a short time.
    This is a high quality generic cord, made in China by Cablesys with gold plated contacts. It is not OEM (original equipment manufacturer).
    It uses the standard 4P4C (4 pin 4 conductor) connector which is also called RJ9, RJ10 & RJ22. Do not use it between the phone and the wall jack. The wall jack is 6 or 8 pins wide. It would provide a loose, noisy connection.
